Who Should Get the Hepatitis B Vaccine?
All newborn babies should get vaccinated. You should also get the shot if you:

Come in contact with infected blood or body fluids of friends or family members
Use needles to take recreational drugs
Have sex with more than one person
Are a health care worker
Work in a day care center, school, or jail
Is There a Cure for Hepatitis B?
No. But again, it often goes away in a few months, and it occasionally disappears in people who have a chronic case of the disease.


Hepatitis B Acute Type treatment
People with acute hepatitis B do not require treatment.Patients should  getting bed rest, drinking lots of fluids and taking over-the-counter pain relievers (products containing ibuprofen, such as Motrin and Advil, are considered to be safer than products containing acetaminophen, such as Tylenol, in people with acute hepatitis) are usually all that is needed for someone who is experiencing acute hepatitis B symptoms.

Hepatitis C


Hepatitis C is a liver disease. It caused by the Hepatitis C virus (HCV).  Hepatitis C is the severe form of all the hepatitis and it can lead to the death of the infected person. HCV infection sometimes results in an acute illness, but most often becomes a chronic condition that can lead to cirrhosis of the liver and liver cancer. You can get Hepatitis C when you have contact with the blood of an infected person, primarily through sharing contaminated needles to inject drugs.

Hepatitis B and types

Hepatitis B is the second type of hepatitis.It is caused by HBV. It infects the liver. HBV causes the liver to swell and prevents it from working well. It’s spread through blood, semen and other body fluids via sexual contact, sharing of needles, accidental needle sticks, and from mother to baby during childbirth.
It has two types

  1. Acute
  2. Chronic
Acute Type Hepatitis
Hepatitis B is created by a virus. Many adults who have hepatitis B can recover from it. Recovery usually occurs within 6 months and without medication.This is known as an acute infection. Click here for more
Chronic Type Hepatitis
Some people have the infection for a longer period of time. This is known as a chronic infection. It can last an entire lifetime and lead to liver scarring, liver failure and liver cancer. If you get the virus as a child, you usually develop a chronic infection. Click here for more

Symptoms of Hepatitis B

    Most people do not experience any symptoms during the acute infection phase. However, some people have acute illness with symptoms that last several weeks, including
    • Being sick
    • Fever
    • Nausea
    • Abdominal discomfort
    • Dark urine
    • Yellow skin and eyes (jaundice).
    • Feeling tired.
    • Muscle soreness.
    • Loss of appetite.
    • Diarrhea.
    • Light colored stools.
    • Flu-like symptoms, such as tiredness, general aches and pains, and headaches.
    However, many people don't realize they have been infected with the virus because the symptoms may not develop immediately, or even at all.
    It takes between 40 and 160 days for any symptoms to develop after exposure to the virus.

    Causes of Hepatitis A


    1. Hepatitis A is spread due to ingestion of contaminated food , water fruits and  other items.
    2. It is also spread due to direct contact with an infected person. 
    3. In short this disease is closely related  to  other infections, toxic substances (e.g. alcohol, certain drugs).
    4. Autoimmune diseases can also cause hepatitis.
    5. Eat raw shellfish harvested from water that is got the virus in it.
    6. Swallow anything contaminated.
    7. By using brush of an infected person and uninfected person.
    8. By eating raw oysters or under cooked clams.
    9. Children in diapers can get stool and when they will touch other objects the other children may put these objects into their mouths.
    10. The Mother or workers may get HAV if they don't wash their hands well after changing the diaper.
    11. Men who have sex with men and with other infected person.
    12. The House wife and home made if doesn't wash her or his hands well after using a bathroom and then touch objects those use in preparing in food or other objects that of use of other person. 
    13. By eating food made by an infected person who didn’t wash his or her hands after using the bathroom.
    14. When a worker providing child care.
    15. Journey to countries where hepatitis A is common.
    16. The disease can also be spread sexually by oral or anal contact

    Hepatitis Virus (HV)


    Hepatitis Virus (HV) is a virus that cause a certain type of Hepatitis. There are several types of it. Hepatitis virus including A , B ,C , D , E , F and G. 
    1. Hepatitis A is due to hepatitis virus A (HVA). 
    2. Hepatitis B is due to (HBV).
    3. Hepatitis C is due to (HCV).
    4. Hepatitis D is due (HDV).It is also called Delta Virus.And this virus is smaller circular and RNA virus.
    5. Hepatitis E is due to (HEV).
    6. Hepatitis F is due to (HFV).
    7. Hepatitis G is due to (HGV).

    What is Hepatitis.



    The word "hepatitis" indicates the presence of inflammation in the liver. Once this inflammation begins, scar tissue (called fibrosis) may form.
    Hepatitis is inflammation or swelling of liver due to Hepatitis virus HV.
